Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia recorded the country's inflation rate reached 0.02 percent in the second week of August 2017.

The country's inflation was mainly influenced by public transportation fares. It was also affected by food commodity prices.

"some of them were chicken egg, chicken meat and othe food commodities," Bank Indonesia governor Agus Martowardjojo said at the Bank Indonesia Building in Central Jakarta on Friday afternoon.

The country's inflation reached 0.22 month-to-month in July 2017. It reached 3.88 year-on-year last month.

The annual inflation target was increased to 4.3 percent in the 2017 state budget amendment. It was set at four percent in the 2017 state budget.
